Ben brings a unique background and a strong commitment to helping clients navigate challenging legal situations. Before beginning his legal journey, he served as an infantryman in the U.S. Army for over a decade. After his military service, he pursued a new direction by studying aviation at Clover Park Technical College, where he earned his commercial pilot’s license and became a certified flight instructor.
In 2016, while still in school, Ben joined Morris-Sockle part-time and quickly became a valued part of the team. He later transferred to The Evergreen State College, where he earned his BA in interdisciplinary studies. After graduation, Ben explored graduate programs in psychology and philosophy—but ultimately found his calling in the Washington State Bar Association Law Clerk Program, which combined both areas of interest through the study of law.
Ben completed the rigorous program, passed the Bar Exam, and is now a licensed attorney at Morris-Sockle. His years of hands-on experience with the firm, combined with his military background and client-focused mindset, make him a dedicated and compassionate advocate for those he serves.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with his family, riding dirt bikes, snowboarding, and playing golf.
